LACE 2026

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all members of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, as well as to the institutions and companies whose generous support will contribute to making this meeting both successful and scientifically enriching.

The LACE symposium series was established in 1995 during a small meeting held in Santiago, Chile, with the aim of keeping Latin American scientists informed about the latest advances in microseparation technologies, including capillary electrophoresis, microchip technology, and related analytical techniques.

The symposium is organized over four days and begins with a workshop and short course, followed by plenary lectures, contributed oral communications, poster sessions, vendor seminars, and an instrumentation exhibition. Scientific sessions will cover a broad range of topics, including proteomics, glycomics, foodomics, metabolomics, genetic analysis, DNA sequencing and separation, miniaturization and microfluidics, bioanalysis, biotechnology, (bio)pharmaceutical analysis, multidimensional separation approaches, hyphenated techniques, mass spectrometry, novel instrumentation, sample preparation and treatment, as well as emerging applications and developments in the field.

The Scientific and Organizing Committees sincerely hope that all aspects of the conference — including the scientific sessions, discussions, pre-symposium course, and instrumentation exhibition — will contribute to advancing the science of electroseparations while promoting collaboration and strengthening scientific networks within the community.
